series It s a sweet, inclusive, and heartfelt adventure, but it seems to be going on with no end in sight, and there doesn t seem to be much happening in terms of the stakes I would still love to see with it a new set of problems on top of the usual supernatural shenanigans, as the Janes attempt to keep their secret lives of adventure from their parents But when a local menace sets his sights on the Janes, they have to keep their parents safe as well Lumberjanes always floats around the very good to excellent category, and this one really hits the heights that the series has shown it s capable of The balance between keeping the p It s Parents Day at the Lumberjanes camp, and that brings with it a new set of problems on top of the usual supernatural shenanigans, as the Janes attempt to keep their secret lives of adventure from their parents But when a local menace sets his sights on the Janes, they have to keep their parents safe as well Lumberjanes always floats around the very good to excellent category, and this one really hits the heights that the series has shown it s capable of The balance between keeping the parents in the dark and saving the day shows how well the girls cope with their lives in camp, and how far they ve come from their earliest adventures The one thing that really stood out to me this time around is some continuity we ve had returning characters and some slow progression across the last 40 odd issues, but this one ends on a note that basically promises that we re going to see of this storyline, rather than the surprising follow ons that we ve had before.Ayme Sotuyo pencils these four issues, who was last seen back in volume 7 I believe She really gets to shine with the parent characters, as it s fun to see the traits that they
